Summary

In a remote kingdom, there lived a princess, adored by her subjects and wielding powerful magic。 But as her land was ravaged by an endless war, she lost everything: her people, her family, her loved ones, and eventually, her own life。 Until she opened her eyes and awoke in a place she’d never seen before!

A thousand years have passed, and she finds herself reincarnated into someone else's body。 Realizing the person she's now living as is despised by her own family and even her fiancé, the former princess struggles to understand this new world and the events that have transpired since her death。 There’s a lot to be upset about, but first on the list: how in the world did future magic turn out so lame?

What's better than isekai? Double isekai! Okay, maybe "better" isn't the word, but it's certainly something different than I was expecting。 Also darker - heroine Letty is the princess of a Medieval fantasy kingdom when she meets Nao, a Japanese teenager isekai'd away。 They grow up, fall in love, get married。。。and then are both killed when another country completely crushes theirs。 Next thing Letty knows, she's a teenager again, but everyone's calling her "Drossell" and she's in a Victorian world What's better than isekai? With pretty imagery and a quick set-up, HER ROYAL HIGHNESS caught my attention due to some mysteries。 Its big on exposition - like a lot of reincarnation books seem to be - though only in regards to what is immediately happening with Letty/Lady Drossell。 Fans of the genre will be on familiar ground as it turns out Letty is reincarnated into the body of a young girl who is, for all intents and purposes, a "villainess" with an "angelic" counterpart (her younger twin sister Christa)。The curious cur With pretty imagery and a quick set-up, HER ROYAL HIGHNESS caught my attention due to some mysteries。 Its big on exposition - like a lot of reincarnation books seem to be - though only in regards to what is immediately happening with Letty/Lady Drossell。 Fans of the genre will be on familiar ground as it turns out Letty is reincarnated into the body of a young girl who is, for all intents and purposes, a "villainess" with an "angelic" counterpart (her younger twin sister Christa)。The curious curveballs multiple by the end - why does Zeke seem so much like Nao? How did Letty end up a thousand years into the future where no one knows of her country? Who is the hooded man? Why did a creepy monster know so much about her?So I'm looking forward to the next volume! 。。。more

I loved itKey words: fantasy, manga, seinen, actionI really enjoyed this manga。 At first, I thought I wasn’t going to like it because I thought the first chapter was too simple and fast paced but that’s just because it was an introduction to Leticiel’s life。 The next chapters are really interesting and I loved following Leticiel in her new life。 The art is quite good and easy to follow。 I am already in love with all the characters, except the mean ones of course。 I can’t wait to read the next vo I loved itKey words: fantasy, manga, seinen, actionI really enjoyed this manga。 At first, I thought I wasn’t going to like it because I thought the first chapter was too simple and fast paced but that’s just because it was an introduction to Leticiel’s life。 The next chapters are really interesting and I loved following Leticiel in her new life。 The art is quite good and easy to follow。 I am already in love with all the characters, except the mean ones of course。 I can’t wait to read the next volume。I recommend this manga to anyone looking for some magic and adventure。4。5/5Thank you Netgalley for this eArc in exchange of my honest opinion 。。。more

Her Royal Highness Seems To Be AngryBy Kou YatsuhashiI found it a little hard to get into the story but when I did I couldn't put it down。I cryed when her true love died and when she woke up a thousand years later I was a shocked reader, did not see that coming。 I liked the whole academy approach and the art wasn't bad。 Her Royal Highness Seems To Be AngryBy Kou YatsuhashiI found it a little hard to get into the story but when I did I couldn't put it down。I cryed when her true love died and when she woke up a thousand years later I was a shocked reader, did not see that coming。 I liked the whole academy approach and the art wasn't bad。 。。。more

Thank you to Netgalley and TOKYOPOP for an ARC in exchange for an honest review。Rating: 3 starsI liked the concept of this book where it is going as well as how this book sets up for the next volumes。 However, I was not sure where it was going until about 60% into the book。 I do like the story line that was set up, but I don't like things in the synopsis to happen 50% into the book。 I think this is going to be a really cute love story and I am interested in continuing with the series。 TW: violen Thank you to Netgalley and TOKYOPOP for an ARC in exchange for an honest review。Rating: 3 starsI liked the concept of this book where it is going as well as how this book sets up for the next volumes。 However, I was not sure where it was going until about 60% into the book。 I do like the story line that was set up, but I don't like things in the synopsis to happen 50% into the book。 I think this is going to be a really cute love story and I am interested in continuing with the series。 TW: violence, destruction, deathReview will be posted on July 4th 。。。more

This manga was not what I expected it to be going in。 First off, there's a lot of set up。 At first it seems like it's maybe an isekai following Nao, the male protagonist in the opening chapters, but halfway through BAM! Then the real story, which follows Princess Leticiel waking up in a new body in a place (or time) very different from her own。 For the title being about her being angry, Leticiel is remarkably calm and even-keeled, at least in this first volume。 I expected there to be more anger! She's just incredibly powerful, but not angry so much as sort of。。。 bemused。 This is the first in the series, and I'm not sure I'll be reading any more。 The art style is gorgeous, but the storyline just didn't capture my interest。 A digital ARC of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley for review。 All opinions are unbiased and my own。Like this review? arc provided by the publisher via netgalley in exchange for an honest reviewIn this manga, we follow Princess Leticiel as she goes from being herself during war and death to her dying and being resurrected into someone else’s body a thousand years later。 The story was interesting! Though it did become confusing at times, mostly because our main character is confused and doesn’t know anything about who she is, where she is or anything at all beyond her name。 I wish we had gotten more of Leticiel arc provided by the publisher via netgalley in exchange for an honest reviewIn this manga, we follow Princess Leticiel as she goes from being herself during war and death to her dying and being resurrected into someone else’s body a thousand years later。 The story was interesting! But alas, I still enjoyed her in her new body and setting。I think with her magic and past memories, we’ll get to see her discover more about what’s going on and who these new people are。 As well as why she was resurrected in the first place! Overall, I liked this first volume, I hope we get more answers and information in the next volume。3。5/5 ⭐️TW: suicide, death, murder, blood, gore, beheading, death of a parent, death of a partner, war。 。。。more

Though a bit too fast-paced for its own good at times, Her Royal Highness Seems to Be Angry has the bones of an intriguing fantasy, with a feisty heroine, a fascinating premise, and a compelling mystery。 As a starting block, it works well, giving us just enough information to keep us interested, while still leaving plenty of mysteries to keep the audience hooked。 I know I'll be picking up volume two to find out more about the adventures of our time-displaced heroine and the eerie villain that pu Though a bit too fast-paced for its own good at times, Her Royal Highness Seems to Be Angry has the bones of an intriguing fantasy, with a feisty heroine, a fascinating premise, and a compelling mystery。 As a starting block, it works well, giving us just enough information to keep us interested, while still leaving plenty of mysteries to keep the audience hooked。 I know I'll be picking up volume two to find out more about the adventures of our time-displaced heroine and the eerie villain that pursues her。 。。。more

I got more interested in the story than anything else from the first chapter。 I loved Leticiel's character with her magical power and strong personality not a naive and simple girl in need of protection。 I will be looking for the next volume。 。。。more
